Based in Utah, Best Friends Animal Society is an animal welfare organization that helped pioneer the no-kill movement. The organization also focuses on animal adoption and spaying and neutering, and offers a variety of locally based animal programs. As a large organization, Best Friends also has many volunteering opportunities – from marketing and technology to animal care.
